Piano

We have some good friends who have to return to the States. We are sad to see them go. One of the things they had to sell was their piano. I had been wanting one since we first moved here but never thought that would be possible until now. My parents made this possible. They had money saved waiting for the day I found a 'good used' piano. A big thank you Mom and Dad for this wonderful gift! I grew up with lots of music in my home and enjoyed hearing the piano being played at any moment of the day so it's thrilling to me to have one in our home now. I look forward to playing it and watching the girls develop their musical talents. Thanks Mom and Dad and Mom Dad S. who helped pay for the piano to be moved and tuned.
PTL and thanks Hasting family!

Tea with Gram-ma-ma

The girls have had such a lovely time with Gram ma-ma. The tea parties never end and Grandma always thinks up some creative way to play with the girls. Grandma has been such a blessing and huge help to us these last three weeks. Always cheerful and positive always willing to help in anyway. We are sad to see her go this coming weekend but are so thankful for the wonderful memories together.

Loving school

A couple pictures of four yr old on her way to school last week.

We're so thankful that sweet four year old is still waking up happy and excited to go to Kindergarten. It's fun to hear her highlights of the morning. The other day the teacher told me that when it was time to clean up four yr old sang a solo of the 'clean up song' to encourage her classmates to get the work done. Mommy the old Kindergarten teacher herself was very proud. :)

At the Dead Sea with friends

What a great weekend. We had one night at the Dead Sea with our good friends. It was a treat to have Grandma with us too. The children all had a blast swimming together. It just went way too fast.

First day of school

My sweet four year old had her first day of Kindergarten. It went really well! It is a blessing to have a close friend with her in the class. She woke so excited and could not wait to get there. We have to leave the house at 7:30 as school starts at 8:00 and goes to 12:35. As expected this has been harder on Mommy than on the four yr old. Mommy misses four yr old at home. :(

Jerash

About an hour away from our home nestled in the valley among the hills of Gilead is the city of Jerash. It made for a nice day trip with Grandma. We enjoyed the show put on by Roman Soliders. Grandma and 2 yr old even met a new friend. :)
