A visit to Kindergarten

It was a reeal treat for Mom and Dad to visit four year olds class. Mom read the 'Little Red Hen' and Dad brought the famous puppet 'Princess Cindy' who gave hugs to all the kids. You can tell from four year olds smile how special this was. Thanks Mom and Dad for being such good sports you made everyones day.

Turning Three

She woke to balloons in her bed (our little Birthday tradition) but the laughter turned to crying as she had terrible pain in her neck. The birthday girl was then on her back for most of the day with a strained muscle...not sure if it was the sleep the night before or the constant jumping on her bed everyday. :) The party was on hold till she was better which was the next day.

When it was time for the party all was well. She enjoyed having her friends over for a some BBQ hotdogs and princess cupcakes. Having Mommy read her favourite story was fun but the highlight was Papa and his Princess Cindy puppet. A surprise at the end of the day. Wonderful to have Grandma and Papa here for the party.

Papa and Grandma are here!

Waiting for the surprise visitors to get in.

What an amazing blessing to have more family visit. There is nothing more special than spending time with family. The girls had no idea my parents were coming. All we told them was that we had to get somebody special from the airport. It was a wonderful reunion! The last time my parents were here was 18 mths ago when baby was born.

Thanks Nana and Papa

The girls got the newest Veggie Tale movie thanks to Nana and Papa. It's called 'Sweet Pea Beauty' and is perfect for three little girls. As you can see they have been enjoying it. Even baby sat down for a while to take a peek...or as long as her snack lasted. :)

Rain

It's always a treat to have the first rain after months of a dry, dusty, hot summer. The girls were so excited to get their princess raincoat and umbrella and run around outside. It made everyone happy as it was the first big rain we've had since March.

Great memories

It's always a treat to spend time with Gram-ma-ma. This trip was very special. A big thank you Grandma for all you did to show love and care. We sure appreciated all the fun things you brought over and all the help with the kids over the last three weeks. Highlights were 4 yr old starting school, tea parties, circus outside, band march, the new piano, meal times together, dancing with the girls, the many dishes you washed and all the hugs and kisses handed out to each one everyday.

A few pictures of the last few days.
We treated Gram-ma-ma to a dinner out and celebrated my Birthday and an early one for 2yr old who will turn 3 on the 16th. You can see her sporting her new earmuffs from Gram-ma-ma. Have you ever seen a child in the Middle East wear earmuffs? Well she was born here but remember she has Canadian blood. :)
