What's your baby's name?

Ok this has nothing to do with Christmas but it's kinda cute. After many months I finally got a video to upload for me. Can you tell my kids are not growing up in Bowmanville or Richard's Landing? :)

Merry Christmas

Gifts are wrapped and under the tree. The 'J' tree is almost done. All we have to do is get Gram ma-ma from the airport Christmas Eve.

We miss our family and friends and will be thinking of you all at this season...wishing we could be with you but we have much to be thankful for at this time of the year.

May all the glory go to the one who deserves our praise.

The Christmas Story

We enjoyed hosting a Christmas party for our dear friends on Friday. It was fun to act out the Christmas story and to sing some carols. A wonderful opportunity to teach the kids about the best gift of all and to give praise and honour to the one we worship and adore. The kids had a blast dressing up and I think the adults did too. Yes that's a real baby in the manger!

Sick baby

Baby girl was sick the other day. Big sisters decided to put on a show to cheer her up. Baby sat on the chair and watched with enjoyment. It was so cute to hear the made up songs all about how much they loved their baby sis. There was lots of dancing as well. One of those really cute 'wish our family could be here moments'.

Middle Eastern Snow Day

I can just hear everyone right now. Where is the snow in these pictures?
Well if you live over here any tiny bit of the white stuff is exciting even if it's more rain than snow and only lasts for an hr on the ground. We need anything wet over here as we just don't seem to get much of it all year round. The people have been praying hard for rain and it finally came and to a Canadians pleasure with a wee bit of white stuff too :). Oldest daughter got a snow/rain day as her school was closed. She enjoyed watching the view from the kitchen window with her sisters as car after car got stuck in the water. I was not so impressed with the sandy yucky mess that is left behind on everything...what a mess to clean up!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

We're enjoying the advent story each night together as a family.
Three year old loves helping Mommy do Christmas baking and Christmas cards are all done thanks to the girls.
