Today we celebrated Mother's Day as a family. We had breakfast with some dear friends. Then I was given beautiful flowers and a sweet gift from the girls and Daddy. We then ended the day going out for dinner and ice cream. Best part of the day was the unexpected cuddle (that turned into a nap) with three year old on the reading chair. Nothing better than holding your baby no matter what the age while they sleep sweetly. :)
I first celebrated Arab Mother's Day a month ago with an assembly at oldest daughter's school.
While Daddy and friends were fixing up our house we went over to our dear British friends home and watched the wedding of the year! The girls enjoyed a royal tea party and dressed up as brides along with their friends.
We had to fix and paint our walls due to water damage. This is very common over here as the homes are not built well. Looks nice now that it's all fixed and painted but we'll see how long it lasts till it comes back.
My blog has not been working this last while so I am playing catch up now.
One of the big stories a month ago was Daddy's health. He had his Gall Bladder removed but then had complications. The pain was worse than the pain those two nasty stones ever caused. We are thankful for all your prayers. He is feeling better now but we both have learned that when you are told you need surgery look into it before you go to the O.R.
