Boxing Day trip to the Dead Sea

Enjoyed the warm weather and the view

Ok no snow for Christmas but we have salt

 Look how much it's shrinking

We got a little lost on the way home and asked a kind police officer for directions. Telling us wasn't enough he had to take us there. So we had a police escort on the way home. Kinda fun.

Thanks family. You've spoiled us again.

Christmas Eve

In my family growing up we had the tradition of a stocking hunt on Christmas Eve.

Each person has 10 questions they have to hunt, find and answer.
The last question leads them to their stocking.

Hunting for the next clue is fun!

Look who was the first to find hers!
Thanks Aunt Ruth for starting this so many years ago...we love it!

Dinner with friends

Our Arab friends are very hospitable. We usually don't go through a week with out an invite for dinner. Blessed and thankful that our girls are always willing to join in the fun.

Goodbye vines

This weeks family day activity- Clean up the dead vines in our garden
Sadly we don't have enough water to keep these growing well...so time for them to go
