Great books for parents of little ones

I have really enjoyed these books and I'm going to re-read them this summer for the third time. :)

Aqaba-Red Sea

Wadi Rum

Getting out of the city once and a while does the soul good.
We enjoyed our time camping in the desert with friends this past weekend.
Highlights were the wide open space for these city kids to run. Climbing the rocks,riding across the desert in the jeep and rolling in the sand.

Eldest daughter enjoyed sand sliding the most.

The new schoolroom

I am thankful for my husband's suggestion to glass in our balcony and make it into a schoolroom. We did not use the balcony for anything other than drying laundry. It over looks a busy road and is too loud to sit out on. Now we enjoy it every morning as we do school. We feel blessed.
