Our middle girlie is quite active. Much more than most of the rest of us...wonder where she got that from? :) She loves to help around the house. Today it was 'clean the garden day' after the sand storm we had this week. Since it was family day Daddy was home and invented one of his many games and this time it was long jump from the office to the living room.

Spring in Jordan
I know all our family back home are having a snowy start to Spring. It looks a little different here but it has been cooler temps than other Springs we've had. We're still enjoying the blooms and playing outdoors makes Mommy very happy.
The girls are happy to get back on their bikes even if they can't ride far in our garden.

BBQ at the Dead Sea
Our very rustic location
Time for the BBQ
Gotta get the camel picture for the 20th time
Wow and even more exciting than camels are horses!
Ok you win...oldest will ride the camel
My brave 7 year old...that's a cliff she's riding beside
Now younger sister wants to get in on the act
Until the camel stood up.
Oldest sister thought it was fun younger changed her mind pretty fast and wanted off.
Jordan class
I have enjoyed teaching 'The land of Jordan' class at our co-op group every Thursday am. Last week we had fun making a bedouin tent, drinking mint tea and eating mansef with our hands. Some of these children are new to Jordan and some like my girls have grown up here.
Sadly I don't have the pictures of all the kids dancing to Arab music...just my girls before we left our house that morning.
More mansef...don't think you're supposed to lick your fingers :)
A fun way to learn about Jordanian culture.
