Physical Education

So how do you make sure your homeschooled children get some exercise when they live in the city?
One word...
Daddy :)

Every Wednesday afternoon Daddy thinks of different ways the girls can get moving. Some days he takes them to Sports City which has a lovely outdoor area.
Oldest loves to climb trees, middle loves to run, and youngest collects walking sticks.

By the time Daddy is done with them they are worn out. Mission accomplished. :)

Home repair

Doesn't everyone stop leaks in the wall like this?

Azraq Wetland Reserve

Driving to Azraq you see....
dusty sand and a lot of big trucks and more dusty sand and more trucks. :)

Ya hoo! Wide open space :) nothing like running through the desert

 Hot Daddy :)

Are we there yet?

Oh dear where's the water? Sadly most of this wetland is now dried up due to lack of funding and weather conditions.
We did enjoy the little information display. Always grab the teachable moments right?
On the hunt for birds
Ok so I have not one picture of a bird or a water buffalo. Yes they are there but we did have fun and being together is what matters right?

This was one exciting moment when middle girls hat flew off and we thought we had made a donation to the reserve. Thankfully Daddy has long arms and a good reach

Horse Farm

We took a field trip to the Country Riding Stables in Gilead. The girls had a blast. So nice to see some green and breath in fresh air. The girls have been keen to learn about horses and so getting a chance to ride one was very exciting. It was also a bonus to do this with our co-op  and KW friends.

Ballet recital

Spring ballet recital

You can see above from youngest face that she was not into this and after
I took this picture she walked over to me and said "I am scared Mommy" and sat the rest of the dance.

Four years old

My baby turned four years old.
