Guess what I lost?

As a family we enjoyed watching and waiting for the 'loss of the first tooth' a huge event when your a 5 1/2 yrs old. Then the day came and it fell out and now 'toothy' as sweet daughter has named it is stored in a special box.'Toothy' has to be looked after with great care. We had some drama last night when after sleeping in bed close to the box...'toothy' got lost in the sheets! All is well and now Mommy is the keeper of the box with occasional peeks to see if it's ok. There also was some concern at bed time last night when five yr old was told she did not have to brush it as she does her other teeth. "Oh no we have to brush 'Toothy' we can't just leave him in the box to get dirty"

Sisterhood

I grew up with one big brother and I loved it. I would not have wanted it any other way. For me this sister thing is pretty new. I get a kick out of watching my girls playing together. The fact that they are so close in age makes them best buddies...and life being a bit different over here makes it special that they are so close. Children truly are a blessing from the Lord.

Thankful

Thankful for a Daddy who puts God first in all things and loves to tell the girls daily about amazing truths from the word.




Also a Daddy who is fun! This is the sandwhich...no one gets hurt just a lot of giggles.

Ramadan begins

I am in hosting mode now. It's been busy but a wonderful blessing to share Iftar meals with friends.

Adventure with friends

A few weeks back dear Husband went along with his friends to climb,hike and repel at a beautiful Wadi south of the Dead Sea.






What a blessing to live in such a beautiful country.

Ballet Recital

The girls had their last summer ballet lesson a week ago. It was a treat to go in to the class and watch all they had learned. Miss Kate did a wonderful job with all those little ones.
