We have some good friends who have to return to the States. We are sad to see them go. One of the things they had to sell was their piano. I had been wanting one since we first moved here but never thought that would be possible until now. My parents made this possible. They had money saved waiting for the day I found a 'good used' piano. A big thank you Mom and Dad for this wonderful gift! I grew up with lots of music in my home and enjoyed hearing the piano being played at any moment of the day so it's thrilling to me to have one in our home now. I look forward to playing it and watching the girls develop their musical talents. Thanks Mom and Dad and Mom Dad S. who helped pay for the piano to be moved and tuned.
PTL and thanks Hasting family!
Wow! What a blessing! We had one back in Canada, but now I feel like hoping for a piano is probably too much and possibly, slightly, probably impractical for the life we've chosen... ;) but maybe a keyboard?!
ReplyDeleteFunny, I was just wondering a few days ago if a piano post would show up on your blog as I knew the Hastings were back in Amman to pack and liquidate. I think it is a perfect match! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteYes...you never know. I'll be praying for a keyboard for you. We are proud of you guys!
ReplyDeleteyes God worked it all out...we'll be missing them though...as we are missing you all xo
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful for you! I wish I could hear you play and sing! Especially sing, my friend!
ReplyDeleteHow awesome that you were able to get a piano...I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as we're enjoying your Canadian piano! Thanks again! (-:
