I have enjoyed teaching 'The land of Jordan' class at our co-op group every Thursday am. Last week we had fun making a bedouin tent, drinking mint tea and eating mansef with our hands. Some of these children are new to Jordan and some like my girls have grown up here.
Sadly I don't have the pictures of all the kids dancing to Arab music...just my girls before we left our house that morning.
More mansef...don't think you're supposed to lick your fingers :)
A fun way to learn about Jordanian culture.
Looks like you're doing a wonderful job with it!!! But of course that's no surprise! :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE looking at all your pictures!! l am so proud of you and what all of you are learning there!! I was happy to see the older girls reading Narnia!! (one of my personal favourites) and I too am happy she has found a kindred spirit! The middle one cracks me up! I'm glad you keep her busy. By the way, what is in mansef?
ReplyDeleteLots of love to you and your precious ones,
Aunt Ruth
