Not sure how to spell this word in English but 'Qatieyaaf' is like a small pancake that they make everywhere at Ramadan. They fill it with a sweet cream and it tastes quite yummy. They eat it like a dessert after they break the fast at night.
Ramadan is not for a few days but we enjoyed watching these being made in bulk at the mall while we were waiting to meet Daddy for supper. Can you tell the girls and I seem to be finding areas to go where there is A/C. :)

Hi my dear!
ReplyDeleteWell, your technically-challenged Aunt has finally figured out how to access your blog!! DUH!!
I LOVE IT!!!
I am so proud of you! It is so neat to see pictures of your every day life ... and rejoice with you in how faithfully you are taken care of there!
The video of the baby walking made me laugh out loud and brought tears to my eyes! My oldest child started walking at the same age and was equally proud of his accomplishment!
I have to go now ... I am taking my "baby" for her 4 month vaccination. There will be no tears, only a little yelp!
I love you and now I have figured out how to view this blog thing, I'll be on it frequently.
Give every member of your family a big hug from the tall guy right down to the latest walker.
Love from me.
xo
